Solved: “logswatch is not running” Error on Zimbra

I have several Zimbra Mail Servers running on Ubuntu, and I want to migrate them to Rocky Linux.

I am using the Rsync[1] method to perform the migration. However, when migrating a Zimbra Mail Server running on Ubuntu 18, I encountered an issue where “logswatch is not running”.

Logswatch is a component of the logger service. After performing some troubleshooting, I resolved the issue by reinstalling the related library.

yum reinstall zimbra-freetype-libs

After reinstalling the library, the logswatch service was able to run again.
